So, here's the update. My sister celebrated her 11th birthday and my family including Han Love had a BBQ party at ECP. It was superb lah esp the food we ate. I prepared the whole menu. And even bought the ingredients. Han followed me to the wet market that day and the makcik sell ayam asked if we were married. I dont have the guts to answer but Han did. 'No makcik, kite belum kahwin but nak tunang maybe next year or so.' Woah. committed nampak sayang? haha. Well anyways, the menu was :
- Cheesy beef burgers
- Butter Tiger Prawns
- Chicken Meatball kebabs
- Hotdogs & Turkey Ham served with Grilled capsicum and onions.
- Tandoori Boxing Chicken
Han Love was my sous chef and does the cleaning too. Funny thing was, apparently my bibik had forgotten to bring the beef patties I prepared and I was pretty mad lah. Penat seyh buat. Lucky seyh my aunt brought some fish to be grilled. Phew. Well, here's some pics Han took cause I was so busy layaning my cousins and telling them stories about life and having respect towards others and self, eh biase lah kate favourite cousin seyh.
Birthday Girl
She's special to me cause she is. She was born with Celebral Palsy and she's no different like any other ordinary kid yknow just she needs help with walking and everything else. Her speech is impaired but she is the most funniest girl I've known my entire life. Seriously, you can speak to her like a normal kid yknow she'll answer you with her own language and she is the most adorable devilish kid ever. I promise. Every year is my biggest concern for her as she grow up I get to see her improvement in her speech and all. She tried to follow her teacher saying BIBIK FARA and hers was PIPIPIYA... haha. Her laughter is addictive. AND her smile makes your worries go away. People stare at her sometimes cause she still sits in the pram but I get the hang of it infact whenever people stare I will make her do something that people will AAW at. I mean, that 2 minutes in the train with all the strangers around staring at her Its worth it. Don't you guys ever treat anyone like her differently cause to them and their family, Less is More. I told this to my cousins cause they don't like to play with her whenever they come over to my place and this speech works on all of them. Eversince that, they treat her like any other kids. So what if she can't run around? So what if she's talking he language, she's happy with herself that way and I am happy for her too. God has his own way of conveying his words. So I have to suck it all up and live with it. Thanks. I don't need your sympathy just the consideration to these special people.
