It's time to brush off the dust here. Haha. Its been a while now since I update my blog to due some technical probs that occured somewhere, somehow.
Went to participate in I Care programme yesterday visiting some elderly people living in the rental flat around Marsiling Lane. Gave away some hampers from Marsiling CC (rep.) to them. I got so into it that I teared for one elder couple living at blk 4 I can't remember the unit number. Their house was well furnished and very old school but the nenek and datuk live there happily cause both of them are so joyful. When I gave her the hamper which contain Kuih Kacang, Kuih Bahulu and Biskut Cornflakes sponsored by Marsiling CC, she was very thankful and said that only God can ever repay us. I hugged her and kiss her cheeks before I leave and she hugged me tight and said, Sayang Cucu Nenek. It makes me cry because I felt that I've made her happy and that atleast we care for her and the other fellow elders. Han was there too. He was doing great that day. So after all that went home to rest for abt before going to Clementi to break fast with Han's Godmum and Aunt at their house.
I was nervous hell yeah cause I knew that it will be a long dinner. But I kept my cool alright. Infact, I think I talked more than his aunt! Han complained I was too talkative. Eh, mestilah...whats' the MOLEY for sia. *giggles* After Clementi we went to Geylang, half-heartedlysadly because Han was having FEVER. tsk tsk. Went Geylang to get him the samping and my dendeng then off home. In the train, poor Han the aircon was freezing so yah, I've tried hugging him but it was awkward- awkward position I mean. I suggested him to hug my bag cause its warm (dendeng inside) hah. and yes again, brilliant idea. Han twist his legs like pretzel sia really really!
Sunday Morning.
My tuition kids came except for the 4 brothers reason: Geylang. But it's okay cause they are my most improve kids here. Mia came withOUT sister, Nasha but I urged her to come so Mia called their mums' workplace and one of the workers sent her to my house.(Aunt is the Big Boss of her own company) I searched the net for Dyslexic children and read the symptoms of it and learned that Nasha is one of those kids. Which is neither good nor bad. It is not a bad sign cause some prof said its actually an intelligent thing. So I searched more on Dyslexia and found this passage that I think Nasha could read with no hesitant.

It sounds weird but I think I might find a way to teach her now. Children with dyslexia often write and read alphabets mirror-imagingly. Even when she read her favourite books, she has no interest in words but rather illustrate by looking at the pictures. I started off with her today by pronouncing each letter especially b,p,d,q... to her. She now spells b,d,p,q carefully. Well, I have to help her cause her parents are business people so they have no time for her at this age. She's in Primary 1 but fail almost all of her subjects. I will have to be patient and correct her whenever cause she CHEATS too. Mischievious lil kid I tell you. But I love kids.
After breaking fast today, Han decided to jam with his brother and bestfriend, Dan at Music Garage. 930-1130pm and then we stopped by AMK to eat cause thats where Han's brother lives. As soon as we started eating, Han's younger sis, Shaa, stepped into McD with Han's biological dad. My real father-in-law. Haha. Still good looking aye. But honestly it was abit tense cause I have never met him before. Turns out, he's funny and friendly; a wise man I consider him as and FIERCE. haha. Not to me but to the strangers around him. Oh! and he knows fashion alright! Haha must be adek lah teach him all. eheh. Well it was nice meeting the in-laws this month and yes I am looking forward to cook for your dad Han. Overall I rate my week as SUPERB.
